Waivers, Releases, Conditions & Terms
for participating in an Online Event, Program, or Membership hosted by Tantrika Institute Inc. (t/a Tantra Illuminated)
By checking the agreement box at registration or payment, you (“Participant”) confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms. This is a legally binding agreement between you and Tantrika Institute Inc., governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA.
1. Liability Waiver
You understand that participation in any online course, webinar, group session, or virtual program hosted by Tantrika Institute Inc. (“Event”) carries inherent risks, including but not limited to physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual challenges.
A. Assumption of Risk
You voluntarily assume full responsibility for any physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual harm or discomfort arising from participation.
B. Waiver of Liability
You hereby irrevocably waive, release, and discharge Tantrika Institute Inc., its directors, officers, employees, contractors, volunteers, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, or causes of action related to participation, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
C. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tantrika Institute Inc. from any claims or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your participation.
D. No Medical or Mental Health Advice
Tantrika Institute Inc. does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, or mental health diagnosis or treatment. All content is for educational and personal development purposes only.
E. Mental Health Responsibility
You affirm that you are emotionally and psychologically stable to participate and have consulted a qualified professional if you have any mental health conditions. You accept full responsibility for your own wellbeing during and after the Event.
F. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in this waiver excludes liability for gross negligence, reckless misconduct, or intentional harm.
2. Audio, Video, and Likeness Release
You acknowledge that:
- Live online sessions may be recorded, and your face, voice, name, and likeness may appear in those recordings.
- Tantrika Institute Inc. may use, store, edit, distribute, or repurpose recordings for legitimate business purposes, including marketing, educational sales, and future courses.
- By participating, you grant Tantrika Institute Inc. a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use your likeness unless you notify the organizers in writing before the Event to have your video switched off and likeness excluded from recordings.
3. Payment Terms
- All online events, programs, and memberships must be paid in full at the time of registration unless otherwise stated.
- Registration is not confirmed until payment is received.
4. Refund Policies
A. Online Courses & Events
- 14+ days before start date: Full refund minus $50 processing fee.
- Less than 14 days before start date: No refund.
- If Tantrika Institute Inc. cancels the event: Full refund provided.
B. Immersion Program
- No refunds are given after the program begins, defined as the date/time of the Opening Call.
- All remaining payments are non-cancellable and must be paid in full, as this is a program cost and not a month-by-month membership.
C. Monthly Memberships
- Memberships are billed on a recurring monthly basis until cancelled.
- Cancellations must be made at least 5 days before the next billing date to avoid future charges.
- No partial refunds will be provided for unused time, and access will continue until the end of the paid period.
5. Governing Law
This agreement is governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts located in Colorado.
6. Severability
If any provision of this agreement is held invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
7. Acknowledgment & Consent (No Signature Required)
By checking the agreement box at checkout, you confirm that:
- You have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to this Waiver, Release, and Terms.
- You are at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a legal guardian.
- Checking the box has the same legal effect as signing a written document.
